MOVIES THIS WEEKEND: JUNE 22
1. THE BIG SICK
Limited Release - Nationwide release July 14
A couple deals with their cultural differences as their relationship grows.
CHARLIE: Potentially one of the best movies of the year. I know it doesn't give you the same excitement of an action movie or the intense drama of a psychological thriller, but this movie is unique and seems extremely well-made. Make time to see this movie, it's set up to be one of those classic romantic comedies that even the jockiest of jocks has on his shelf.

2. THE "CAN WE JUST STOP WITH THIS" BONUS: TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT
Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth.
CHARLIE: This needs to end. I don't understand how they can keep pumping out these movies, which are terrible, and keep making money off it. Don't get me wrong, I love a good non-sensical action movie (see my love for Wild Wild West and Shoot 'Em Up), but this seems like too much. Can we just all agree not to buy tickets for these movies anymore? Please?
PS - The second Transformers movie is the only movie I have ever walked out on. Just saying.
